Call out for Creative Writers to support new online Literary Festival and FREE advertising
In September 2020, DESIblitz will host its first online Digital Literary Festival for creative writers from the British Asian community. They are now looking for experienced British Asian poets, spoken word artists and authors to help deliver the planned programme of workshops and events, who will act as role models and inspiration to others. These are paid opportunities for professionals who can show a strong commitment to creative writing and have experience in serving an online audience. If you are interested in supporting this event and would like to be considered for a facilitator’s role, please get in touch with details of your experience and a maximum three examples of your work – email@example.com
The festival will also see the initial launch of DESIblitz Arts a dedicated on-line platform for up and coming creative writers, providing opportunities for new voices from within the British Asian community to be heard and seen. For this launch they are looking for flash fictions of 350 – 400 words or video performances totalling no more than three minutes in length. A maximum of three separate pieces of work/performance per artist will be considered. Writers, poets and spoken word artists interested in being published should send their work to firstname.lastname@example.org for consideration by the editorial team.
