Don’t Go Into The Cellar presents – Raffles from Haden Hill House Museum
8 January at 9:00 am to 31 January at 11:30 pm£039 – £85
Filmed at Haden Hill House this is a fantastic performance for you to enjoy by Don’t Go Into the Cellar who regularly perform at the museum. We are glad to continue to support and work with local creative organisations – we all need culture and entertainment to get us through.
About the performance…
Written by E.W. Hornung (Arthur Conan Doyle’s brother-in-law), A.J. Raffles was the Edwardian era’s most celebrated gentleman thief. In a series of highly entertaining tales, the suave cat-burglar thrilled and charmed readers in equal measure.
Now, Don’t Go Into The Cellar! have brought him back to life in an original film. Scripted and performed by Jonathan Goodwin, and co-directed by Goodwin and Gary Archer, the performance was recorded at Haden Hill House and will be available online from 8th January until 31st January inclusive.
Now it is your turn to help this fab theatre company get through! The performance is free to watch, however, since last March, Don’t Go Into The Cellar has had no bookings as a result of the continuing lock-down and closure of all theatres and venues. Therefore, we ask you all to donate what you can to their own Go Fund Me page. Thank you.
