Frost Fair Saturday 4 December –– 11am-4pm. Enjoy our festive frosty family fun with Christmas lights, festive performances, music, costumed characters, bouncy castle, entertainment in the grounds and more. See the house beautifully decorated for the festive season with real greenery. Entry free, booking a timeslot for entry is essential. Tickets available soon
An Oak House Christmas Sunday 5 –– 11am-3pm. Visit the house and see it beautifully traditionally decorated for the season with real greenery. Find out about Christmas long ago and young visitors can enjoy our festive trail. Entry Free, No need to book.
Winter Wednesday Wednesday 8 and Wednesday 15 December, 11am-3pm. Visit the house and see it beautifully traditionally decorated for the season with real greenery. Find out about Christmas long ago. Our youngest visitors under 5 can enjoy a simple craft activity and a festive trail. 11am-2pm. Entry free, no need to book.
A Candlelit Christmas Friday 10 December 4pm-8.30pm. Visit the Oak House and see it beautifully decorated for the festive season with real greenery and lit by candlelight. Enjoy live music from the 1600s with Nightwatch and see costumed historical characters and Christmas cooking from the past (weather permitting). There will also be a choir performing Ideal for adults and older children but all ages are welcome. You may wish to bring a torch as it will be dark in the grounds. Booking a timed ticket is essential – £2 per person.
Santa in his grotto and visit the house and grounds Sunday 12 December. See Santa (socially distanced) in his magical grotto, visit the house dressed for the festive season and enjoy our Christmas trail. 11am-3pm. Booking essential to see Santa – £3.50 per child – Santa in his grotto 11am-2pm. House and grounds open to general visitors, no need to book, entry free. Christmas Lantern workshop Tuesday 21st December. Winter workshop with HAF. 10am-12pm and 1pm-3pm. Booking through organisation running this activity.
