Sounds Like Our Parks

Sounds like… our parks

[su_youtube url=”” width=”1400″ height=”200″]

You might not realise, but nearly a quarter of Sandwell is made up of green space – that’s more than 2,000 hectares!

We have more than 30 different parks all over Sandwell – making us one of the Black Country’s greenest urban areas.

And if you add to that our fields, sports pitches and other green areas, that comes to an incredible 539 green spaces for you to enjoy.

We’re so incredibly proud of our parks in Sandwell.

No fewer than eight of Sandwell’s parks have Green Flag awards from Keep Britain Tidy – celebrating how well kept they all are.

Every town has its own fantastic green spaces – so if you’ve never visited, take a trip to see what’s happening at your nearest park.

  • Dartmouth Park, West Bromwich
  • Lightwoods Park and House, Bearwood
  • Haden Hill Park, Cradley Heath
  • Victoria Park, Tipton
  • Brunswick Park, Wednesbury
  • Barnford Park, Oldbury
  • Sandwell Valley Country Park
