A special “Woolly Weekend” event is being held in the Sandwell Valley this Bank Holiday weekend – to give youngsters the chance to meet the chicks, goats and sheep down on the farm.
The event at Sandwell Park Farm in Salters Lane, West Bromwich will include goat milking, sheep shearing and chick handling sessions.
There is also the chance for families to engage with various Woolly craft activities during the sessions on Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday.
Cabinet member for leisure Councillor Bill Gavan said: “These events are very popular and it is a chance for local children to get in touch with the natural world down in the Valley.
